about

TUM CREATE is a research programme sponsored by the Singaporean National Research Foundation (NRF). It is jointly performed by Technische Universität München (TUM, Munich) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore), and it aims at the development of innovative technologies and future transportation concepts matching the challenging requirements of fast growing and continuously changing tropical megacities.
A central role is played by electric vehicles and all related technologies, e.g., batteries, embedded systems, vehicle technology, and infrastructure. The individual projects and work packages are developed and performed in close collaboration with many industry partners, most of which are located in Singapore.

All researchers are academically linked to one or both of the two partner universities TUM and NTU. A vivid exchange of students and scientists is actively supported by the programme.
